In our experience, one of the most neglected fluids by vehicle owners is brake fluid. As you can imagine, this is odd considering the role brakes play in being able to safely operate your vehicle. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and in wet and humid climates like we have in Houston, this is certainly a bigger problem. We recommend that brake fluid should be changed every 15K miles so for most people, this is once per year.
Our brake flush service utilizes Pentosin brake fluid products. Pentosin is an industry leader in brake fluids and their Pentosin Super DOT4 Brake Fluid exceeds DOT standards. This fluid is good for all modern cars with ABS and is used by many European auto manufacturers in their cars right out of the factory, including Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and Volkswagen.
The new fluid we inject is better at resisting water absorption. It also has superior corrosion resistance and provides excellent performance because it is a lower viscosity and operates at lower temperatures.
